Refund Policy

Emma Ekholm – Acupuncture & AcuEnergetics provides appointment-based health services. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds may or may not be applicable.

Services

Due to the nature of appointment-based services, refunds are not provided for services already delivered.

Once a session has taken place, it is considered completed and non-refundable.

Cancellations and missed appointments

Refunds are not provided for:

  • appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time

  • missed appointments (no-shows)

  • late arrivals resulting in a shortened session

These situations are covered under the clinic’s Cancellation and No-Show Policy.

Prepaid session

If you have prepaid for a session and need to cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours’ notice, the payment may be transferred to a future appointment.

Refunds for prepaid sessions are generally not offered, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Exceptional circumstances

Refunds may be considered in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • practitioner cancellation

  • serious or unforeseen circumstances at the practitioner’s discretion

Any approved refund will be processed using the original payment method.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a refund or remedy where a service is not provided with due care and skill, or where required by law.
