These Terms & Conditions govern the use of this website and the services provided by Emma Ekholm – Acupuncture & AcuEnergetics (“I”, “me”, “my”). By accessing this website or booking an appointment, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Use of this website

This website is intended to provide general information about services offered. You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not use this site in a way that causes damage, disruption or interference with the website or its users.

2. Eligibility

​

This website and the services offered are intended for individuals aged 18 years and over. Appointments for minors may be booked only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

​

​

3. Services provided

​

Services offered include acupuncture, AcuEnergetics® and integrated sessions. These are complementary therapies and are not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified medical professional.

Chinese herbal medicine is not currently offered.

Treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed and vary between individuals.

4. Bookings and appointments

​

Appointments are booked online via third-party booking platforms (e.g. Square) or by direct contact.

It is the client’s responsibility to select the correct session type at the time of booking. Session types cannot be changed on the day, as treatment structure and practitioner availability differ.

5. Fees and payment

​

Current fees are displayed on the website and booking platform.

Accepted payment methods include:

• Card payment (via Square)

• Cash (where indicated)

Where a discounted cash price is offered, payment must be made on the day of the appointment. If cash payment is not made at the appointment time, the standard card price will apply.

All prices are subject to change without notice.

6. Cancellation, late arrival and no-show policy

​

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

• Cancellations within 24 hours may result in the full session fee being charged.

• Failure to attend an appointment (no-show) will result in the full session fee being charged.

• Appointments run to a strict schedule. Late arrival may result in a shortened session, with the full fee still applying.

7. Right to refuse or discontinue services

​

I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if:

• treatment is deemed inappropriate or unsafe

• a client behaves in a disrespectful or unsafe manner

• required information is withheld that may affect treatment safety

8. Health information and consent

​

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete health information. Treatment is provided only after informed consent is given via intake and waiver forms.

9. Intellectual property

​

All content on this website, including text, images and branding, is the intellectual property of Emma Ekholm unless otherwise stated. Content may not be copied, reproduced or distributed without written permission.

10. Third-party services

​

This website uses third-party platforms (including Wix and Square) for hosting, bookings and payments. I am not responsible for the content, availability or practices of these third-party services.

 

 

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from the use of this website or services, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
